Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Revelé, a Meliova Studio product, collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.

1. Introduction

Revelé is a wellness companion app created by Meliova Studio. Revelé helps users track their GLP-1 wellness journey through daily check-ins, weight tracking, symptom tracking, hydration, protein and fiber logs, progress photos, reminders, and AI-powered wellness coaching.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices users have regarding their information.

2. Important Health and Medical Notice

Revelé is not a medical provider, clinic, pharmacy, telehealth service, or emergency medical service. Revelé does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medication dosing instructions, injection instructions, compounding instructions, or emergency medical guidance.

Users should always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making decisions about medications, dosage, injections, diet, exercise, side effects, pregnancy, breastfeeding, lab results, symptoms, or any medical condition.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services or seek immediate in-person medical attention.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how users use Revelé, we may collect the following types of information:

Account Information. Name, email address, login information, authentication information, and basic account settings.

Wellness and Health-Related Information. Weight, goal weight, check-ins, symptoms, side effects, hydration, protein and fiber logs, medication-related reminders, personal notes, reflections, wellness progress, and other information users choose to enter.

Progress Photos. Users may upload private progress photos or transformation photos.

Private progress photos are not publicly visible in Revelé unless the user intentionally chooses to share them through a feature we provide.

AI Coach Interactions. Messages, questions, check-ins, responses, prompts, and related information submitted to or generated by the AI wellness coach.

Device and App Information. Device type, app version, operating system, language settings, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, and basic usage information.

Subscription and Purchase Information. If users purchase a subscription through Google Play, payment and billing are handled by Google Play Billing. We may receive limited subscription status information, but we do not receive full credit card numbers or full payment details from Google Play.

Support Communications. If users contact us, we may collect the email address, message content, and related information needed to respond.

4. Camera and Photo Access

Revelé may ask permission to access your camera or photo library only when you choose to upload a profile photo, avatar photo, or progress/transformation photo. We do not access your camera in the background. We do not collect photos unless you choose to upload them.

Photos are private by default. Progress photos, transformation photos, and profile photos are not publicly visible in Revelé unless you choose to share them through a feature we provide.

5. Progress Photos and Sensitive Wellness Data

Users may voluntarily upload progress photos or wellness-related information, including weight, check-ins, symptoms, side effects, medication-related reminders, hydration, protein and fiber logs, personal notes, and overall wellness progress.

This information is used to provide app features such as progress tracking, reminders, insights, AI coaching, and personalized wellness support. Users choose what to enter and may edit or remove this information at any time.

6. How We Use Information

We use user information to:

  • provide and operate Revelé;
  • create and manage user accounts;
  • save check-ins, progress, photos, notes, and preferences;
  • provide app reminders, progress tracking, and wellness insights;
  • provide AI-powered wellness coaching for general educational and motivational purposes;
  • process subscription status through the applicable app store billing provider;
  • respond to support requests;
  • improve app performance, reliability, safety, and user experience;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, or technical problems;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

7. AI Coach and AI-Generated Information

Revelé may use AI or automated systems to generate general wellness information, summaries, reminders, motivational messages, and coaching responses based on the information users provide in the app.

AI-generated responses are for general wellness, motivational, and informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and should not replace guidance from a licensed healthcare provider.

AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, delayed, or unsuitable for a user's specific situation. Users should not rely on AI responses for medical decisions. Users should consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical questions or concerns.

Information users submit to the AI coach may be processed by third-party AI service providers, including Claude by Anthropic or other AI providers we may use to operate the AI wellness coach, only as needed to provide the AI coaching feature, operate the app, improve reliability, maintain safety, and comply with applicable law.

Revelé does not use user wellness data, progress photos, notes, or AI coach conversations to train public AI models.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Revelé, including:

  • cloud hosting and database providers;
  • authentication providers;
  • analytics and diagnostics providers;
  • crash reporting providers;
  • AI model providers;
  • app store billing providers such as Google Play;
  • subscription management providers such as RevenueCat;
  • email and customer support tools;
  • security, fraud prevention, and infrastructure providers.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us, operate Revelé, maintain security, process subscriptions, or comply with legal obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, government request, safety concern, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Meliova Studio, or others.

10. Google Play Billing and Subscriptions

Subscriptions and purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Revelé does not receive or store users' full credit card numbers or full payment card details from Google Play. We may receive limited subscription status information, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, canceled, or in trial status, so we can provide access to premium features.

If Revelé is distributed through Google Play, subscriptions, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Google Play Billing and the user's Google Play subscription settings.

Refunds are subject to Google Play policies.

11. RevenueCat

Revelé may use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, restore purchases, and provide premium access across app sessions and devices. RevenueCat receives limited subscription information needed to provide these services. RevenueCat does not receive full credit card numbers or full payment card details.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information.

This may include secure transmission methods, restricted access, authentication controls, and service providers that use security measures designed to protect data.

However, no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

13. Data Retention

We keep user information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Revelé, maintain user accounts, operate app features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain security, and support business records.

Some information may be retained after account deletion where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, backup, or compliance purposes.

14. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Revelé account and related data by visiting /revele/delete-account.

Users may also email support@meliovastudio.com with the subject line "Delete Revelé Account."

When a user requests deletion, we will delete or de-identify account information and associated data unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, backup, or compliance purposes.

15. User Choices and Controls

Users may be able to:

  • update account information;
  • delete their account;
  • request deletion of their data;
  • edit or delete check-ins, notes, and progress information;
  • remove progress photos;
  • manage notification preferences;
  • cancel subscriptions through Google Play subscription settings;
  • request account deletion through /revele/delete-account;
  • contact us about privacy questions at support@meliovastudio.com.

16. Children's Privacy

Revelé is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that a child under 18 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

17. International Users

Revelé is operated from the United States. User information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If we use specific cloud regions, those regions may change as our infrastructure evolves.

18. Third-Party Links and Services

Revelé may contain links to third-party services, app stores, websites, or tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third parties.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we may notify users by updating the "Last updated" date, posting a notice in the app, sending an email, or using another reasonable method.

Continued use of Revelé after changes become effective means the user acknowledges the updated Privacy Policy.

20. Relationship to Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service at /revele/terms. The Terms of Service explain additional rules regarding use of Revelé, subscriptions, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and governing law.
